We make a point of entertaining the crew on LUX. Here are three ladies enjoying Downton Abbey, courtesy of an iPad and an internet link via an iPhone. We'll probably burn up some Bahamas Telephone Co (known here as BTC or batelco) to watch other episodes.
Today was a tough day because we had to motorsail into 12kn of wind all day to get from where we anchored out on the Great Bahama Banks to New Providence Island. The day's Yahtzee game was suspended due to a bouncy boat in the chop. As I'm writing this blog post, the evening card game of 500 Rummy is in full swing.
One advantage of crossing the Tongue of the Ocean (that's what it looks like when viewed on the chart) is that we could fish. We set both hand lines and within about 15 minutes we invited two nice Mahi-Mahi aboard for dinner. Only they were to be the main course. Carol fixed one of them for dinner. It was very yummy. I'm sure Gee will have photos to post of the adventure.
We're anchored out tonight at West Bay, a nice anchorage on the west end of the Island.
