We're visiting the Fountain of Youth Gardens. I've already had my drink. And, as you might have guessed, it didn't work. Of course, anything that only costs $11 with a senior discount is probably not going to work. Oh well.
But, we did learn that Ponce de Leon claimed ALL of America up to Labrador long before either Columbus or the English. Had he been able to hold that claim, we would just live in northern Florida instead of Maryland. Think how much easier it would had made life for fifth graders! Only one state capital to learn. Such a lost opportunity.
