Day 18 of my captivity with the boat people

Well, the boat people continued to say that we wanted to hurry up and get to the Bahamas to enjoy the beautiful weather. So, here we are in Spanish Cay. The wind is blowing and blowing. We are at the dock, and LUX is rocking side to side and front to back. The marina buildings appear to be boarded up. There are exactly three boats in the marina. Even the stowaway bird knew to abandon this ship before we got into port. Oops. Make that two boats. And we will soon be the only boat here because the monohull next to us is only checking in and will soon be taking off again. But the sun is shining. The earlier prediction called for rain. And, according to Linda, we really had a lovely Pacific crossing. Oops! Linda is complaining. She said she meant pacific with a small p! Yours truly is being accused of embroidering upon the tale once again. Then again, what else is there to do while you wait for customs to clear you so you can get off the boat.
