Wednesday, November 13

Yesterday, we had a wonderful sail to Man-O-War cay. This has been the most open place so far. AND, they had two grocery stores. AND, the food wasn't $4 a can. A can of green beans only cost $2.50! But, we are still seeing the aftermath of Sandy. Many places are still closed due to storm damage. The ice cream shop is waiting for parts and repairs on their freezer(that was a disaster for members of the crew lusting for ice cream). However, both sewing shops were open. Both make bags, but the first one uses both cotton and canvas. I was able to buy a bag of remnants, so I have had my fabric fix. Also, CDs of island music were found, satisfying those among us craving island steel drums.

As you can see from the picture, it is another beautiful day in the islands. Don't know where we will end up, but it will be great!
