On to Emerald Bay

February 13

We left Black Point yesterday as the breeze was picking up. On the way out, we passed a nice Beneteau! Yes, Linda, this picture is for you.

As you might have guessed, it was a great day for sailing.

The sailors among us thought it was an incredible day. A note for Susan- an OSPREY flew over LUX with a big fish. No, not a pelican, but an osprey. We have also seen some herons. But, we have been surprised that we have not seen pelicans and dolphins.

We sailed on to Emerald Bay Resort. It's a great spot to hole up in a wind event because it is very protected. It is also very nice - better than some American marinas we have visited. This one has floating docks, free washers and dryers, and nice bathrooms. They also have quite the lounge for transients.
