Valentine's Day in Emerald Bay

Happy Valentine's Day from The Marina at Emerald Bay.

You can see that people are beginning to realize how important LUX is. Just look at our neighbors in this marina!

It would be a perfect day here in the tropics if not for the wind. It's continual. And, it blows the fine sand everywhere continually. But that did not stop us from enjoying our Valentine's Day.

And, of course, we send lots of love, hugs, and kisses to all our families and friends.

Today, we continue to hunker down in the marina. But, we're using the time wisely. We've gotten in line in the laundromat. There are only three washers and three dryers. The good news is that they are free. Oops. That's probably also the bad news. EVERYONE seems to come here to use the laundromat. And that would include some of the folks off the small cruise ship. So, hurry up and wait is the order of the day.

We'll be eating on the boat today. Valentine's Day is a big deal even here in the Exumas. And, the other problem is that the marina has a Star Wars vibe- if there is a bright spot in the Exumas, this is the spot furthest from it. There are no restaurants or bars nearby- even with a LONG walk.
